Intermediate Associate, Family Law

Job Description

We are a teaching firm, investing in your success.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Maintaining currency with case law, statutes, rules, and regulations.
  • Providing timely, comprehensive, and strategic legal advice and representation to clients.
  • Developing and maintaining positive relationships with clients and other professionals.
  • Reviewing and preparing materials including pleadings, affidavits, briefs, facta, organizing disclosure.
  • Docketing time, as appropriate.
Qualifications
  • Member in good standing as a barrister and solicitor with the Law Society of Ontario.
  • 4-8 years experience practicing family law, but will consider other experience
  • Strong communication in oral advocacy, correspondence, drafting, and research, a solid work ethic, exceptional time-management skills, attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in the most up to date of software (no PC Law).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: commensurate with experience, plus significant bonus structure in place for high achievers.
