Faiza realized that she had a passion for law and social justice early in her life. At nine years of age she made a resolute decision to become a lawyer. When relaying this dream to her teachers, one in particular recommended that she become a family lawyer in order to help families who may be vulnerable at such a sensitive time. That has forever resonated with her. Faiza has appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice and Superior Court of Justice representing clients in all manner of family law cases.
Faiza was called to the Bar in Ontario in 2018. Prior to that she attended Ryerson University and law school at the University of Birmingham, United Kingdom. Faiza articled at a boutique law firm in Ajax, Ontario where she mainly practiced family law, wills & estates and estate litigation.
Faiza joined the Stephen Durbin and Associates team in November of 2018. Outside of work Faiza enjoys travelling, cooking, reading and spending quality time with her family.
