Valerie Cooper

Born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario, Valerie studied psychology at McMaster University before switching to a law clerking program at Mohawk College where she graduated with honours.

She was initially employed by a law firm practicing both family and criminal law and learned the importance of providing the best possible representation for each individual client.

Valerie then decided to focus solely on family law and worked for family law specialists over the past 16 years before joining our firm. She especially enjoys championing children’s issues and being on the winning team.

Valerie enjoys reading, primarily historical biographies, portrait sketching and going on long relaxing walks.
