Important Notice Regarding Covid-19
We ask that you please do not attend our offices if you have:
- Experienced flu-like symptoms such as cough, fever, difficulty breathing:
- Travelled outside of Canada in the last 14 days;
- Been in close contact with someone who has shown symptoms of COVID-19;
- Been in close contact with someone who has travelled outside of Canada in the last 14 days.
For new clients, we are currently offering remote initial consultations in addition to in-person meetings and can arrange appointments with the assistance of our intake specialists. For existing clients, staff are working remotely but continue to be dedicated to your matter and are available via telephone and email.
Opposing Counsel, please contact the lawyer with carriage of the matter to coordinate service, rescheduling meetings or court appearances, or other issues.
During this special period, we will accept service of all court material by e-mail provided such consent is mutual and special service is not required.

Excellent Advice and Service
My initial consult went very well. Lisa took extra time to listen to the merits of my case, offered me meaningful short and long-term advice and gave me the confidence to proceed with SDA for my family law needs. I removed one star due to a mix up during the follow-up retainer meeting where I was temporarily assigned a different associate without any prior discussions. A Remarkable Legal Experience
I had Stephen Durbin represent me in my family law matter. My matter was a bit harder because my ex lived out of Province and I had no contact with him for many years.
Stephen’s clerk, Claire, took care of my matter and did all of the day-to-day work including all paperwork needed to get my matter to Court and have my ex found and served, and take this matter to trial.
