Sonja obtained her bachelor’s degree in Criminology and a Certificate in Legal Studies from Simon Fraser University. She then went on to law school at the University of Sussex.
Before being called to the bar, she worked as a legal assistant at a global law firm and completed her articles at a boutique law firm in Etobicoke. Sonja gained experience in corporate matters, real estate transactions, and family law.
Prior to joining Stephen Durbin and Associates, Sonja practiced in a full-service firm in Toronto, where she gained experience in civil litigation and family law cases.
Outside of work, Sonja enjoys knitting and baking.
