Alessandra obtained her honours Bachelor of the Arts degree majoring in Political Science and Labour Studies from McMaster University. During her undergraduate education, Alessandra volunteered with the Children’s Aid Society of Hamilton.

She received her Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor. During her time at Windsor Law, Alessandra was selected as a family law student for Pro Bono Students Canada’s Family Law Project and Windsor Law’s Community Legal Aid where she assisted individuals with their separation matters.

Prior to joining Stephen Durbin and Associates, Alessandra completed her articling at a family law firm in Oakville where she became an associate following her call to the bar.

In her free time, Alessandra enjoys spending time with family and friends and hiking.

Alessandra joined our team in April 2021.

I contacted Stephen some time ago with a problem I was having with my business. My landlord wanted to buy me out of my lease. Business was pretty bad anyway so I was almost willing to take a very small amount that he offered $68,000 (all numbers expressed here are in current value dollar amounts). Stephen told me to leave it in his hands and see what he could do. Little by little he negotiated with the landlord, bringing him up first to $360,000, then to $540,000, then to finally about $810,000! I was shocked that this was the result.
